Michael Stirling has a proven and professional track record in advising both institutions and asset managers.  As an experienced professional service firm adviser he has worked for investment banks, City law firms and within the corporate finance department of a major accounting firm.  He advises government agencies, listed and unlisted companies and institutional investors.

Michael was elected and served for a number of years on the Institute of Directors ‘Economics and Taxation Committee’, which makes policy recommendations to the UK Government and Treasury.  He is an experienced lawyer and was also elected to the London committee for the Milken Institute.

Michael is an experience advisor on infrastructure investments. Stirling Infrastructure Partners enables institutional investors and asset owners to work together to make responsible investments that generate stable, lower risk returns within the infrastructure sector.  He has long-standing relationships with governments, investment banks, institutional investors and industry executives internationally.

Michael’s opinions are regularly published in the business press, in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, The Economist and other business journals.  In addition to advising institutional clients he has also been retained by a number of Champions League football clubs to advise the club on obtaining investment.
