They work with both our head office and local sub­ject mat­ter experts to pro­vide a sound under­stand­ing of the invest­ment oppor­tu­ni­ty and risks con­cern­ing the trans­ac­tion. Once the invest­ment oppor­tu­ni­ty is bench­marked and approved for fundrais­ing by the Invest­ment Board, the inter­na­tion­al asso­ciates sup­port the cap­i­tal-rais­ing process.

Chris­t­ian Weber (Vice Pres­i­dent Con­sul­tant) 

Chris­t­ian is an expe­ri­enced M&A infra­struc­ture trans­ac­tions advi­sor he has expe­ri­ence across mul­ti­ple sec­tors. Pre­vi­ous­ly, he worked for five years at San­tander Invest­ment Bank­ing in the Cor­po­rate Finance team based in Chile and Spain where he par­tic­i­pat­ed in a sig­nif­i­cant num­ber of inde­pen­dent val­u­a­tion process­es, domes­tic and inter­na­tion­al M&A trans­ac­tions and refi­nanc­ing activ­i­ties. Chris­t­ian holds a pro­fes­sion­al degree with hon­ours in Indus­tri­al Engi­neer­ing from Pon­ti­f­i­cia Uni­ver­si­dad Catoli­ca and an MBA from Lon­don Busi­ness School.

Adam Emrani (Vice Pres­i­dent Consultant) 

Adam has placed more than $3 bil­lion of equi­ty and debt financ­ing for infra­struc­ture and real estate prop­er­ty types and exe­cut­ed sev­er­al hun­dred mil­lion dol­lars of loan and real asset sales for finan­cial insti­tu­tions. Pri­or to his cur­rent role, he opened and co-head­ed the Los Ange­les office for the Carl­ton Group, and was a Vice Pres­i­dent at George Smith Part­ners. Adam holds joint JD and MBA degrees from the Uni­ver­si­ty of South­ern Cal­i­for­nia and a B.Sc. in Psy­chobi­ol­o­gy from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia Los Angeles.

David Tol­janich (Senior Asso­ciate Con­sul­tant) 

David is respon­si­ble for man­ag­ing teams of sec­tor spe­cial­ist econ­o­mists and researchers cov­er­ing the trans­port and ener­gy sub­sec­tors with a focus on real assets with­in the North Amer­i­can and UK mar­kets. David has a back­ground of oper­a­tions and man­age­ment in the infra­struc­ture sec­tor, with over ten years’ expe­ri­ence work­ing in numer­ous oper­a­tional roles at sev­er­al major Cana­di­an port facil­i­ties. David is a grad­u­ate in Finance from Simon Fras­er Uni­ver­si­ty, Canada.

Ken­neth Lum (Senior Asso­ciate Con­sul­tant) 

Ken­neth has worked in the marine and off­shore sec­tor in both Sin­ga­pore and Aberdeen. He also has sig­nif­i­cant cor­po­rate finance expe­ri­ence in ship­ping finance.  Ken­neth is respon­si­ble for assess­ing indi­rect invest­ment man­agers in the infra­struc­ture asset class; he has an exten­sive under­stand­ing of the invest­ment process for indi­rect infra­struc­ture LP’s. Ken­neth received a B.Sc. in Eco­nom­ics from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Queens­land and an M.Sc. in Account­ing and Finance from Lon­don School of Economics.

Ashar Raza (Vice Pres­i­dent Consultant) 

Ashar is an expe­ri­enced ener­gy M&A advi­sor in both OECD and Non-OECD mar­kets. In recent times he has focused on advis­ing on debt financ­ing in infra­struc­ture projects for emerg­ing mar­kets. Before work­ing at Stir­ling Infra­struc­ture, Ashar pre­vi­ous­ly worked at BNP Paribas in Lon­don on the infra­struc­ture invest­ment bank­ing team. Ashar has an M.A. from Lon­don Busi­ness School and a bach­e­lor’s in Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Kent, UK. He speaks flu­ent Eng­lish, Urdu, Hin­di and basic Arabic.

Jialin Liu  (Asso­ciate Con­sul­tant) 

Jialin has gained expe­ri­ence in the invest­ment bank­ing sec­tor in both Hong Kong and Main­land Chi­na, where he built expe­ri­ence in con­duct­ing due dili­gence, finan­cial mod­el­ling and eco­nom­ic research. He has devel­oped exper­tise in finan­cial ser­vices, tech­nol­o­gy and infra­struc­ture indus­tries. Jialin received an M.Sc. in Finance and Pri­vate Equi­ty from Lon­don School of Eco­nom­ics; pre­vi­ous­ly, he obtained his Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence in Eco­nom­ics from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Michi­gan. Jialin speaks flu­ent Can­tonese, Eng­lish and Mandarin.

Chang Li (Asso­ciate Con­sul­tant) 

Chang has expe­ri­ence work­ing in a vari­ety of sec­tors, includ­ing fund man­age­ment, invest­ment bank­ing and equi­ty research. He has devel­oped skills in finan­cial mod­el­ling, due dili­gence and mar­ket analy­sis in the infra­struc­ture and finance sec­tors. Chang received his M.A. in Man­age­ment degree from Lon­don Busi­ness School; pri­or to this, he obtained a B.A. in Eco­nom­ics from Peking Uni­ver­si­ty, major­ing in Finance. Chang speaks flu­ent Man­darin and English.

Min Jun Park (Asso­ciate Con­sul­tant) 

Min Jun’s pro­fes­sion­al expe­ri­ence con­sists of work at lead­ing law and finance firms inter­na­tion­al­ly. He has worked in Seoul, Hong Kong and Lon­don.  At Stir­ling Infra­struc­ture, he con­ducts eco­nom­ic and legal research.  His respon­si­bil­i­ties include trans­ac­tion­al due dili­gence and risk report­ing on trans­ac­tions for cap­i­tal­i­sa­tion in the infra­struc­ture and real estate sec­tor. Min Jun holds an LLB Bach­e­lor of Laws from the Lon­don School of Eco­nom­ics. He is flu­ent in both Eng­lish and Korean.

Max Chin (Senior Asso­ciate Con­sul­tant) 

Max has a back­ground in Eco­nom­ics, Finance and Account­ing. He has worked at Nomu­ra Asset Man­age­ment and Deloitte.  At Stir­ling Infra­struc­ture, his team analy­ses the glob­al ener­gy mar­ket with a focus on the long term, medi­um-term, and spot mar­ket demand for ener­gy imports. His team’s report also includes analy­sis of his­tor­i­cal data and mon­i­tor­ing new infor­ma­tion that may mate­ri­al­ly affect demand for ener­gy on a coun­try by coun­try basis, and how knock-on effects will affect total demand glob­al­ly. Max holds a Mas­ter of Sci­ence from Impe­r­i­al Col­lege Lon­don and is flu­ent in Eng­lish and Mandarin.
